Today I want to share with you my secret weapon for making money online…*hint* …it’s the best SEO keyword research tool on the market.
So, you’ve started a blog, written a few posts and a few months have passed by but their’s no one to be seen on your blog.
All you can hear is …*Crickets*
Now your left wondering “How do I write posts that readers can find and want to read?”
After all, you do need some traffic to your blog to be able to make money blogging.
Thats where Jaaxy comes in, for what I think is the best tool that every online blogger/entrepenuer needs.
In my Jaaxy review, you will learn why the Jaaxy Keyword Tool is the most powerful and best seo keyword research tool. It will help you find keywords that will get you blog posts ranking on page 1 of google and that readers will love to read.
What is SEO?
Before I get into the details on keyword research, I just want to explain what SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is and why it’s actually quite important if you want to take blogging seriously.
In simple terms, SEO is basically a way/process in which you increase your visibility and authority in search engines such as Google, Yahoo or Bing. If the search engines deem (based on a whole ton of metrics, so don’t sweat it) your content valuable then your likely to rank quite high in the search engines. Which in turn will drive tons of FREE ORGANIC TARGETED TRAFFIC to your site.
And this is why it’s so important for the blogging long haul…
Better SEO => More Visibity => More Traffic => Money/Added Value to readers
There are many components to SEO. Keyword Research is just one of them that can make a big impact on your level of free traffic.
What is keyword research?
Keyword research is literally as it states, your looking for keywords that people are searching for in the search engines. It allows us to understand what customers/readers are looking for, their behaviour and what’s trending right now.
That’s pretty powerful stuff for a blogger! Keyword research gives us a crazy amount of insight into what our readers want.
We use search engines every day for a variety of things and it’s estimated that there is 3.5 billion searches on Google a day! Its amazing to see how important the internet has become in our daily living.
So when you type into your search engine “How to Make The Best Damn Coffee” or “How To Start A Profitable Blog”, these are Keyword Phrases (These are called Long Tail Keywords). They contain keywords or key phrases that people are searching for on the internet.
I bet your going to ask “How can I tell if a keyword is popular?”
That’s were a keyword research tool becomes really handy and fun. A keyword tool gives you lots of data and information, such as number of average searches a month and number of other posts/articles ranking for that keyword i.e your competition.
You could use a free keyword research tool such as Google Keyword Planner as it gives you an idea of the general popularity of a topic but it’s pretty limited in giving useful data. Knowing that the search term “Benefits of Coconut Water” in Google has 121,000,000 results does not help in writing an article that you want to rank on page 1.
It does however give you an indication that a lot of people want to know about the benefits of coconut water so it might be a good topic to write about. That’s as much information your going to get from Google Keyword Planner, as it was initially made for advertisers and not blog posting.
So if you write a post with this method, then it’s likely it will get lost in the dark corners of the web like a needle in a hay stack, where no one will find it or read it.
That’s not what we want!
A tool like Jaaxy can give you further metrics to help you pin point a quality keyword or long-tail keyword. It collects all of its data from Google, Bing and Yahoo. It then converts it into easy to understand data.
I’m pretty much a technical dummy! So if I can use it well, then so can you. 🙂
So, What is the Jaaxy keyword tool?
The Jaaxy Keyword Tool is a keyword research platform and is considered as the most advanced keyword tool on the market. Jaaxy is web based so you don’t need to download a program or any software. You simply log on to the Jaaxy website and go on your merry little keyword researching way!
I love this as it means I can do keyword research on my phone while I’m travelling. You have to make use of time when your working a full time job and trying to start a successful blog!
Jaaxy was created by Kyle & Carson who have been in the affilate marketing industry for over 20 years! They are true experts in the field of keyword research and affilate marketing. They created an amazing education platform on building an online business.
The platform is called Wealthy Affiliate. Definitely check them out if your looking to start an online business/blog, the right way. Plus you get Jaaxy for free when you sign up to the Premium Wealthy Affiliate Program. (That’s a complete bonus when your trying to start your road to success on a tight budget!)
So, Why is Jaaxy the Best SEO Keyword Research Tool?
Let go inside and show you first hand why I love Jaaxy – More importantly how to use it.
Feature #1: Easy to use
It can be overwhelming when you first start building your blog as you have a lot of things to do. The last thing you need is a keyword research tool that is going to confuse you and make you feel even more lost! Many of the other keyword research tools on the market give you masses of useless data and unneccesary metrics that will just distract you.
Jaaxy gives you the essential metrics and data that you need in order to write a post that ranks well.
Plus it’s super fast at giving you data, has an easy to use interface and accurate.
Above is the Jaaxy keyword research page and it has 5 easy to understand metrics:
- AVG – This is the average number searches that this exact keyword recieves per month.
- Traffic – The is the amount of traffic your website would recieve if your post was on the first page of the search engines.
- QSR – This is the Quoted Search Results. This is a really good metric to look at when doing keyword research as it shows you how many other sites are competing for that exact keyword.
- KQI – This is the Keyword Quality Indicator. The programming behind jaaxy does a ton on analysis to tell you wether the exact keyword is good to use. Green is good, Yellow is ok and Red is poor.
- SEO – This stands for Search Engine Optimization. This score analysis the traffic and competition. The higher the score then the more likely you post will rank on the first page of the search engines.
It’s as easy as that!
I’ll show you how to use this data in the How to use Jaaxy: 3 tips for finding a golden nugget keyword section down below.
Feature #2: Saved Lists
Jaxxy allows you to save keywords to a list that you can go back to at a later date. You can create your own list of names and add the appropriate keywords to them.
Say you have two categories: Healthy Recipes and Healthy Tips
You can save all your healthy recipe keywords to the healthy recipes list and all the healthy tips keywords to the healthy tips list.
This helps massively when your trying to come up with content ideas as it allows you to organise your data effectively.
You can also download your lists to excel if you want to do some further analysis, like sort your keywords in order of average searches or QSR.
Feature #3: Alphabet Soup
There are times when you might struggle to come up with keywords in a certain topic.
This is ok because Alphabet soup is here to the rescue!
Alphabet soup basically takes the keyword your interested in and finds lots of other keyword suggestions in order of the alphabet.
With the search term “Benefits of Coconut Water” you can see that at the letter A it’s giving you keywords suggestions such as “Benefits of Drinking Coconut Water After Working Out”.
If I drag the scroll along to the letter D, it gives me a keyword suggestion “Benefits of Coconut Water For Diabetics”.
Alphabet soup allows you to comes up with lots of content ideas with keyword suggestion that will help your post rank.
I find Alphabet Soup handy in coming up with keywords that are different to completitors in my niche.
Feature #4: Brainstorm & Related
The Related and Brainstorm feature are also useful in helping you come up with content ideas and great keywords.
The relation column next to your keyword research section shows your keywords that are related to your target keyword.
Giving you more great ideas when your stuck!
The Brainstorm page shows you what topics are currently trending on Google, Alexa, Amazon and Twitter. This can be great for when you want to write seasonal posts such as “Best Christmas Gifts for A Gamer”.
Feature #5: Competion Analytics
The search analysis page allows your to analyse your competion for an exact keyword. It shows you the first 10 posts ranking on page one of google.
This is super useful as it helps you write better content for the exact keyword than your your competitors.
You get to spy on:
- The word count of the post
- Number of links of the site
- Alexa Rank
- Google Adsense
- Meta Description
- Meta Keyword density
Having all this information gives you a good idea of the domain authority, quality of content and optimization of the sites your trying to compete with for a particular keyword. It tells you the likelihood of you being able to out rank them if you wrote a post with the exact keywords.
You always want to write content that is more valuable and useful than your competitors. These metrics will help you do that.
I don’t spend too long on competition analysis. I have a general look at these metrics for the first ten websites and then just crack on with writing some awesome content.
Feature #6: Affilate Program Research
The Affilate Programs pages shows all the afiliate programs available for a keyword/topic.
I love this feature as it saves so much time compared to finding affiliate programs on my own through google.
Sticking with the coconut water benefits, you can see that there are many coconut related affilate programs on Clickbank.
Who would of thought, hey?
There’s a program for literally everything. 🙂
Feature #7: Site Rank Tracking
The Site Rank page is briliant in tracking your posts in the search engines. It tells you where your post is ranking in Google, Bing and Yahoo.
This can help when you want to track the performance of a post. If a post is struggling to get to page 1 of the search engines but you can see it on page 2 then you can do a content upgrade to the post to try to get it on to page 1.
Feature #8: Domain search
On the keyword research page there is a column next to SEO called domain. This shows you what domains are available for that exact keyword.
Say you want to start a new website on golfing and you want your website to be called golfingprotips.com then you can search “Golfing Pro Tips” in the keyword research bar and the domain column will show you if .com .net or .org is available.
Feature #9: You get Free Keyword Research Training as a bonus PDF
This is my favourite feature because what’s the point in having the best SEO keyword research tool if you dont know how to use it.
Even though Jaaxy is easy to use, it’s still really important to have some training on how to find the right keywords that will get you to rank.
Jaaxy comes with 3 guides and a few exclusive videos to help you those golden nugget keywords.
Bonus #1 Guide is showing you 1000 high traffic low competition keywords
Bonus #2 Guide is showing you Niches, Keywords and Success
Bonus #3 Domain Industry Secrets
The 3 additional videos also show you a walk through tutorial on keyword research and analysis.
Feature #10: Helps you Rank on the 1st page of Google and Bing (Success Stories)
I just wanted to show you a couple of blog posts from WA members, showing you that Jaaxy works in helping you rank of page 1 of google.
How to use Jaaxy: 3 tips for finding a golden nugget keyword
Lets get to the exciting bit on this post.
Finding keywords that will get your post ranking on the 1st page if the search engines isnt hard if you follow this 4 step criteria.
- AVG (Average Searches) >100
- QSR (Number of Competing Sites <100
- SEO ( Search Engine Optimization) > 85
- Keyword Makes Good Sense
Lets stick to the keyword “Benefits of Coconut Water”
This exact keyword analysis:
- AVG = 4608 – GREAT
QSR > 100 at 182 – NOT GREAT SEO < 85 at 82 – NOT GREAT
- The keyword makes sense. – GREAT
This isn’t a great keyword as it doesn’t meet our golden nugget criteria. Your unlikely to rank on the first page of the search engines with this keyword.
However lets look at the keyword suggestion “What Are The Benefits of Coconut Water”
This exact keyword analysis:
- AVG > 100 at 135 – GREAT
- QSR < 100 at 83 – GREAT
- SEO > 85 at 91 – GREAT
- The keyword makes sense – GREAT
“What Are The Benefits of Coconut Water” is a great long tail keyword as it meets the criteria.
Thats fairly simple and easy. I use this method for all my content.
Who Jaaxy isn’t for..
- Jaaxy is only in English. If your wanting to start a site in any other language then Jaaxy is not for you. It doesn’t have any data on keywords from other languages.
- No Local Search Results. The data that Jaaxy analyzes is from global data so if your wanting to do research from data that comes from a specfic geographically area, your out of luck.
How much does Jaaxy Keyword Tool cost?
Jaaxy has 3 different levels you can sign up to.
Membership #1: Starter Package
It’s great if you just want to see what Jaaxy is all about and use it to do keyword research for a few of your blog posts to see first hand that it works.
The starter package comes with:
- 30 Keword Searches
- 20 Keyword Results
- 2 Saves lists
- 30 Siterank Scans
- 5 Letter Alphabet Soup
- Most of the other Jaaxy features such as the Affilate programs page
Membership #2: Pro Package $49/mo
It comes will all of the above (more quota though) but includes unlimited searches.
This level of memebership is pretty much all you need to write high ranking posts.
Membership #3: Enterprise Package $99/mo
The enterprise package includes everything that the other packages have (just even more quota) but it loads automatically.
With the other package you have to press “get QSR” to load the information for that keyword (a lot of clicking but loads fairly quickly). With the enterprise package it loads automatically for all the keyword results.
A complete time saver for those dedicated to keyword research! – But not necessary for newbie bloggers.
Jaaxy Lite Package (FREE with Premium WA)
Jaaxy Lite is the package I use. Its pretty much the same as Jaaxy Pro but it come for free when you signed up to Wealthy Affiliate. Wealthy Affiliate is that education platform i mentioned earlier. I joined them back in 2014 and haven’t looked back.
How Jaaxy is different to other Keyword research tools?
So you’ve probably not heard of other keyword tools such as Long Tail Pro, Semrush and Market Samuri,
They’re all great tools for specific advanced purposes. But, they are the ones that I was talking about earlier.
The dreaded useless data and unnecessary metrics. You don’t need all that confusion and time wasted trying to figure them out. Especially when your a new blogger.
With Jaaxy I dont need to analyse 101 metrics to figure out wether I should write a blog post about a specific keyword, let alone figuring out if it will rank.
That’s why I love Jaaxy. Its simple, effective and works!
Plus Jaaxy is a fraction of the cost compare to these tools.
Some of these other keyword tools start at $100 for basic packages but Jaaxy Pro is $49.
That’s like $1.63 for a tool thats going to help you make even more money.
My thoughts on Jaaxy
I have used Jaaxy for the past 4 years and honestly swear by it. – It’s my secret weapon!
Keyword research done right can make a huge difference in building your online business and getting ahead of the game.
Jaaxy allows you to find Keywords/Long Tail Keywords to help you produce content youre reader need and want!
Thats what you need to know, what do your readers what? what do they need?
Without that your shooting in the dark with your blog posts.
A keyword research tool is the number 1 tool every blogger needs if they want a successful blog as it will help you get your posts ranking.
If you want to make money blogging to quit that job or go on your dream holiday then you need traffic.
The best traffic is organic free traffic from the search engines.
